The whole story


The concept for The Pizza Aficionadoughs came to life during the summer of 2020, at the height of the first lockdown.  With a three year old and baby on the way, we were determined to make the most of being able to spend more quality time as a family, and cooking together became a big part of that.  We were quick to buy our first pizza oven- a sleek Ooni Koda- and have never looked back. Gone were the days of store bought, pre-made pizzas; they simply didn’t satisfy us any more. Instead, they were   replaced with fresh, often experimental, and, more importantly, delicious family creations.  A quick training session from a skilled family member who worked as a pizza chef, and we were off.

 

After months spent eating our weight in homemade pizzas, and sharing many of them over the garden fence with wonderful friends and neighbours, we decided that we wanted to turn our love of pizza into a food business that would benefit our local community and excite in others the same passion for cooking al-fresco with their loved ones.  We aim to take the stress out of creating Neopolitan style pizzas at home, whether for intimate family dinners or for larger events. We use only  restaurant-quality ingredients and professional-grade equipment so that we can   guarantee delicious pizzas and top class service with every order.

This option is suitable for events such as birthday parties, corporate events, weddings, and anything in between.
